AMAZING MAMMA!

'As arrows are in the hand of the archer so are children.....' or something like that! Thats how I feel about my kids! They have gone out and accomplished so much more than I could even imagine.
Here's Amanda, a loving mother, willing to try anything to provide whatever her family needs practical, emotional, spiritual, whatever! Her energy astounds me. Listen to this...up walking the dog by 6 a.m., gets the kids to school with a good breakfast usually without yelling, disorganization or unhappiness; works at the school all day comes home and fixes dinner does household chores runs them to whatever (but keeps it within reason!) and is 95% cheerful and positive and FUN! She is, I believe, an otter at heart with a good dose of golden retreiver (if you are familiar with animal personality likenesses)
Amanda I admire you immensely! Thanks for being an inspiration! Stay tuned for more motherly musings about other James Kids! Posted by Picasa

MOVING!

Oh my goodness. Sara has been packing for the last week. They move March 1st. Even though John hates moving and loves his present house, the owners are selling. The new house is a really nice bi-level, totally finished and with a beautiful, to die for, view of the mountains. I am very happy for this answer to prayer...along with the view comes 77 acres of field to ride in! So in a week or so I'll either be babysitting alot or helping Sara clean. John is so blessed to have such a hardworking wife. She has the house almost completely packed up! What a job! Posted by Picasa

Still babysitting

Yes sometimes I even babysit animals! I have recently picked up babysitting another adorable 4 year old. Who would have thought my favorite ages would be 3-5 year olds! Not me!!!But this little girl goes to our church and her mom lost her babysitter so Mikaela come 2-3 times a week at 7 a.m. She fits right in and gives me a little pocket change too! I've been feeling pretty old and decrepit (is that a word) lately but then I saw Laura Bush, 1 year older than me, and she looked hale and hearty so I better smarten up! Happy Valentines Day by the way. My husband treated me to a night away, OK it was in Lethbridge, but that was because we were there to watch Peter's basketball game. He cooked steak dinner and gave me a beautiful card and candy...I don't know where he finds these cards but they always are perfect! Thanks Andy, you are the romantic one! Its been a great almost 38 years! Well for me anyway! Posted by Picasa
