The girls got delayed by Thunder Storms and Amy's trip was a total of 42 hours!!!! Alone with two kids!

A Quick Aside

So for awhile I delivered a weekly newspaper on Fridays to the people who do the house deliveries and to some stores. Ocean, Sierra, Mikayla earned 'Build A Bear' money by helping me. In fact I was lost without them. Oh yeah Andy helped me too sometimes (quite often) even after a long day of Coffee Truck. Anyway I took these pictures towards the end of one trip. Mikayla flaked out in the front, Ocean asleep in the back (which used to be full to the brim with bundles.
It was tiring!

Dad's 90tieth

Look at the size of this table! We ate most dinners together and it seated at least 16 people. At one point in the second week we had 23 people!

Celebrating 150 Years!!!

Yes my wish for my 60tieth was to celebrate it at Ocean City New Jersey
with my family. Especially my dad who celebrated his 90tieth while there and
my brother. Also present was Erica, Andy's sister. She kept Andy happy
playing tennis nearly every morning.

Here's a picture of Dad's younger brother and wife, Jim and MaryBeryl who came for his birthday. Unfortunately Leo, Jean and Dick couldn't come because of health reasons...but we know they were there in spirit!

Also my youth pastors from when I was young and yes I was young once came on dad's birthday. What a treat that was! I love you guys. Don't you ever age???

Thanks to my girls, Amanda, Amy & Sara plus Mae and Erica (yes and Andy too) I hardly had to do anything. The girls organized the menu, shopping and cooking schedule. A well oiled machine!

I have to say that do to unforseen circumstances we were only there by the generosity and probably mad scrambling of my brother Mark. Thanks for the loan Mark!!!!!! He also found us an amazing house on the north end directly
across from the beach! He doesn't age either!!

OUR NEW HOME

Yep, I gave most of our furniture away so our place is looking alittle bare. That was a month ago...now I have too much furniture...but one piece that I love is an orange...yes orange Niagara chair with the rollers in the back as well as heat and massage.....But how to fit it in????????

I now have a six sided glass table and 3 chairs on rollers by the fireplace. I love the layout of this place!

Famous Ocean City landmark "The Fishing Pier" but John P., Jon J., Jon Keatley went out deep sea fishing. Only caught two fish but had a great day!

I'm in heaven! At the shore with almost all my kids and grandkids. We'll get you next time David and Mark!

Newest Addition!

How precious is he??? And who is he? He is our newest grandson. Although 5 months old he is only 7 pounds. He needs oxygen now but will soon outgrow this, hopefully. Congratulations Mark, Mae and Mary! (That's what Mae gets for leaving Mark alone for almost a week!
He was there when she got home! Surprise!!!!!!)
