While the cat's away.........

OK...so we need a car when David comes home and uses the van...so I've been looking! Can I help it if I found a convertible...for $395...that runs!...while Andy was at work...!
If it passes the safety and works for 6 months all the better!
What a blast to drive! Can't wait to take it to school Monday!

Sierra Turns Seven!

So Sierra and I went to the field and groomed Sargeant and Silky then walked them up to Sierra's backyard. They did really well. Sierra's friends Avalon and Sky groomed and spoiled Sargeant all afternoon. Then they got to ride abit. It was so fun! And I don't think Sargeant minded the bows in his mane at all!
Sierra now has her own little pony buckets and grooming equipment! She loves Sargeant and he is beginning to love her!

SILKY!

Silky is doing so much better (as she always does in the summer) Seems she really thrives on 'grass'! I have been able to be up in Three Hills about 3 times a week since seeing how poorly she was, and I spend about 1 1/2 hours with her each time, just getting her out on grass, grooming her, hanging out! Today I brought her and Sargeant Pepper to Sierra's back yard for Sierra's birthday party. She really liked it. I loved it. We spent so much time together...she even followed me across their back deck! I believe we'll do that lots more. And she is doing so well I think we will keep her around all summer. I am so relieved! I was NOT ready to say goodbye.

Winding down at school!

The teacher I work with is so smart. She knows the kids have 'had it'!
So she has planned swimming lessons, and lots of field trips. I still wish we werre OUT!
These are pics of our elementary track and field day! Everyone was divided into teams and the events were 'fun'!

40 YEARS!!

Andy and I spent our 40tieth anniversary in Victoria BC...a surprise from Andy! I loved Fisherman's Warf. These are pictures of the house boats...well they aren't really boats but houses built on the water! I'd love to live there for a year. Then there were the seals that came up to be fed. I didn't get the little boys face but it was priceless. I also loved the walk along the cliffs, reminded me of Beer/Seaton!
Thanks, Andy, Let's do another 40!
